Bengal Tiger Coreopsis

Coreopsis is a flower that is as tough as it is delicate-looking. There are many varieties: tall, short, sprawling, compact. The red and orange flowers of ours on the median have been likened to a tiger’s eyes, hence the name. The species is also known as the Tickseed, after its small, tick-like seeds, which are attactive to birds.
