We’ve put a ton of these hardy plants all along the median, partly because of their staying power. They shrug off  the heat and abuse of our Mediterranean summers, and then begin to crank out a spectacular yellow blast of flowers. That’s the real reason we have so many: it’s a dynamite show. And all those blooms somehow stick around into the fall. These sturdy daisies are part of the Aster family.
