Rose campion

This tidy little thing is sometimes grown as much for its dainty, wooly “evergray” foliage as its striking red blooms. The leaves are thick, and rather hairy. The combination of gray and red is remarkable, all the more so because the long-lasting blooms keep the show going all summer long.
